Seldex Bookbound Albums are a premium matted album allowing photographers the ability to combine both matted and flushmount pages within one album. The extensive material and mat options together with chic features such as gatefold and flip pages make the Bookbound Album a real work of art and gives the photographer total freedom when designing. Although matted albums may be considered traditional and dated by some, we consider them to be a timeless heirloom that will remain classic forever.
All Bookbound Art Albums have their base leaves permanently bound into the album cover but they are available in two different leaf styles: Fixed or Standard style. To view the different styles on the "view album styles" icon above.
This will depend on the style of mats you are having in your album. If you are having single, bevel or double mats then the maximum number of leaves in your album is 30 leaves or 60 pages. If you are having our thick bevel mats in your album then the maximum number of leaves is 15 leaves or 30 pages.
You can view samples of these options if you click on the "view mat options" icon above.

Yes! Seldex™ offers photographers a couple of different choices if you do not want to assemble the album yourself, but remember our albums are easy to assemble in studio with a little time and effort!

The most popular way to design and order a Bookbound Art album is to use either Fundy Album Builder (www.fundysoftware.com) or Photojunction (www.photojunction.com). Both of these software design programmes allow you to design Bookbound albums and export the files needed by us to cut your mats exactly as you have designed. This also allows photographers to design custom mats at no extra cost. Once you have completed your album design you can place your album online. You will need to have a zipped file ready to add to your online order which will include a pdf album plan and the double page psd files that you have exported from either Fundy or Photojunction.
Alternatively if you prefer to manually fill in an order form using our standard mat range you can still do this. You do have the option of adding custom mats although this will incur an extra fee. Once you have filled in an order form below, place the order online and include a scanned copy of your page layouts.
Bookbound Albums are handmade, made to order albums and therefore require 15-20 business days to manufacture.
Legal jargon you most likely won’t read… but you should!
