Perspex
Our Perspex album covers remain one of our most popular cover designs. It allows photographers to design a custom wedding album for their brides that will be cherished forever. The metallic photo is mounted onto the back of the Perspex using a special adhesive and the edges are beveled and buffed for a beautiful finish. The spine and back cover is bound in black leather unless another alternative has been specified. Please be aware the cover will need to be handled with care to ensure the Perspex does not scratch.
Jacquard
Our sensational new Jacquard collection merges refined Japanese simplicity and striking contemporary design. The blend of luxurious velvet together with the natural linen background and textured design creates a stunning impact. The timeless floral motif, featuring Japan's symbol of longevity, the chrysanthenum, is sure to be popular with those brides looking for the unusual. Durability: excellent.
Metals
Brushed or currugated metal inlay - The album is fully bound with onyx leatherette and the metal inlay is then recessed into the front cover. Durability is very good although the inlay can scratch quite easily and should be handled with care.
Apollo metal - Our contemporary Apollo metal albums have a semi glazed surface that has a coarse finish and is popular with clients requiring an album that is both durable and scratch resistent. The metal is on both the front and back cover and is bound at the spine with black leather. Durability: excellent.
Aluminium albums - Aluminium albums are made with a solid aluminium front and back cover and are bound at the spine with black leather.
Timber
Contemporary in design, our beechwood and myrtle timber albums are very popular as an alternative to traditional fabrics normally used on album covers. The beechwood timber covers (natural, mahogany, jarrah and walnut) have a timber front and back cover and are bound at the spine with black leather unless another material is specified. The Myrtle timber album cover has timber on the front cover only and is bound on the spine and back cover with black leather unless another material is specified. Durability: excellent.
Premium leather
Our new range of Premium leathers is simply stunning. Cafe, Cedar, Maple and Hermitage have an antique look whilst the Pewter and Bronze have a unique metallic appearance. All of the premium leathers are analine leathers. Analine leather is dyed leather without any pigment applied to the surface. When selecting an album made from analine leather be aware that natural scarring is far more prevalent, particularly on large albums, as it is almost impossible for the album to be free of some sort of scarring. The natural blemishes do not affect the leathers durability in any way and as long as they remain within certain limits, they act as natures imprint of authenticity of leather. Durability: excellent.
Leather
Raven and Coffee form part of our premium leather range as described above. They too are an analine leather and clients must be made aware that scarring is far more prevalent. Chilli, Grape, Capsicum and Teatree are all corrected grain leathers. Corrected grain leather generally has a full pigmented finish applied to the corrected and embossed surface. Corrected grain leathers also have minimal surface marking and scarring and as a result these leathers should be chosen if you would like the album to have a more uniform appearance. Durability: excellent.
Leather
There is no substitute for leather and it still remains the only option for those who insist on the best in appearance and durability. Chocolate, Port and Ivory are new additions to our leather range this year and together with the Black and Navy are all corrected grain leathers. Corrected grain leather generally has a full pigmented finish applied to the corrected and embossed surface. Corrected grain leathers also have minimal surface marking and scarring and as a result these leathers should be chosen if you would like the album to have a uniform appearance. Durability: excellent.
Outback leather
Outback leather is a full grain leather which has been buffed to produce a soft nap surface. It is very soft and more liable to soiling than full or corrected grain leathers. It is a natural characteristic of this type of leather to vary slightly in colour from hide to hide. Durability: excellent.
